Pronto Marketing vs Tech Pro Marketing: An Honest Comparison for MSPs
Pronto Marketing is a WordPress management agency that publishes every price. Tech Pro Marketing works only with MSPs and publishes none. Both now sell AI search work, and neither says how it measures whether that work is working.

Note on verification: every price and quote below was read on the companies' own websites on 8 September 2026. Tech Pro Marketing does not publish any prices, so there is no price to report for them, and we have not guessed one. Pronto's own site lists two different prices for link building, and we report both. Neither company explains how it measures AI search results, so we say that plainly instead of filling the gap.
The short version: these two are not really the same kind of company. Pronto Marketing is a WordPress website management agency. It works with many industries and lists every price on its website. Tech Pro Marketing works only with MSPs and publishes no prices at all. Both of them now sell AI search work. Neither one says how it measures whether that work is working.
If you run an MSP and you are comparing these two, the first useful thing to know is that you are comparing a garage to a salesperson. Both are real businesses. They just do different jobs.
Here is what each one actually is.
What Pronto Marketing is
Pronto calls itself a WordPress Management Agency, right in the heading on its homepage. That is the main job. They build your website, then they look after it. Hosting, updates, fixes, new pages.
Their homepage says they have been in business 17 years, manage 3,540 websites, have 200 reseller partners and over 100 employees. Those are their own numbers, on their own site.
The company was started by Derek Brown and his son Cory, in Bangkok, after Derek spent years at Microsoft.
MSPs are one of the groups they serve. They also have pages for nonprofits, manufacturing and professional services. So you are one type of customer to them, not the only type.
What Tech Pro Marketing is
Tech Pro only works with MSPs and IT companies. That is the whole business.
Their heading says: "We Help MSPs Get More Leads With SEO, AEO, PPC and High-Converting Websites." The CEO is Nate Freedman. They say they work with over 100 MSPs.
They also bought another MSP marketing company, Ulistic, back in 2022. If you were searching for Ulistic, that is where it went.
One more thing worth knowing. The news site ChannelE2E reported that Tech Pro usually works with MSPs making between $500,000 and $5 million a year in managed services revenue. So if you are much smaller or much bigger than that, you may not be the fit they built for.
What each one costs
This is the biggest difference between them, and it is not close.
Pronto publishes everything. Here is what is on their pricing page right now:
| What you get | Price |
|---|---|
| WordPress technical support | $99 per month |
| Website support (unlimited edits) | $299 per month |
| Dedicated support | $799 per month |
| A new website built | $4,500 to $15,000+ |
| SEO and AI audit | from $300, one time |
| Google SEO audit | $200, one time |
| Monthly SEO | from $1,099 per month |
| SEO blog writing | from $549 per month |
| Google Ads management | from $500 per month |
| Google Business Profile | from $300 per month |
| Local ads | from $150 per month |
Those support plans get cheaper if you pay for a year up front. The same three plans drop to $89, $269 and $719 per month.
They also say there are no long term contracts, plus free migrations and a 30 day money back guarantee.
One thing to flag. Pronto lists link building at $1,000 per month on the pricing page, and at $900 per month on their AI search page. Both were live on the same day. We do not know which is right, so we are showing you both.
Tech Pro publishes nothing. We read their full services page. There is not a single dollar figure anywhere on it. To find out what it costs, you have to book a call.
That is not automatically bad. Plenty of good agencies price by the job. But it does mean you cannot compare them on price until you have spent time on a sales call, and Pronto lets you compare in about two minutes.
There is also a small thing worth noticing. The title of Tech Pro's homepage, the bit that shows in your browser tab, says "Guaranteed MSP Leads." We went looking for the actual guarantee. The closest thing we found on the site is a sentence saying they guarantee growth will be "not a fleeting surge, but a stable growth." That is a nice sentence. It is not a number, a refund, or a promise you could hold anyone to. Worth asking about on the call.
Do either of them do AI search?
Yes. Both of them. This surprised us, so we want to be clear about it.
First, what AI search even means. When someone asks ChatGPT "who is a good IT company near me," ChatGPT writes an answer and names a few companies. If your MSP is not one of those names, that buyer never sees you. There was no search result page to be on. There was just an answer, and you were not in it.
You may hear this called AEO or GEO. Those are just labels for the work of getting named in those answers, and we have written a longer explanation of what generative engine optimization actually is.
Pronto has a page for it. It is called AI Search Optimization and GEO Services. Their position is written right on the page: "You don't need to buy a separate, expensive 'AIO' package. We integrate these critical AI-focused optimizations directly into our proven, transparently-priced SEO services."
Tech Pro has a page for it too. One of the headings on it says: "AEO and GEO Are Part of SEO, Not a Replacement for It." They write that they build this work into every SEO project rather than selling it separately.
So both companies do the work, and both say the same thing about it: it belongs inside normal SEO, not in a separate expensive package.
We think they are mostly right about that. A lot of what helps you show up in ChatGPT is the same work that helps you show up in Google. Clean pages, clear answers, real authority. Anyone selling you a totally new discipline is overselling.
The one question neither of them answers
Here is where it gets interesting.
Both companies offer you a check-up to see how you are doing in AI search. Tech Pro offers a free AI visibility audit and a free AI search competitor report. Pronto offers an SEO and AI audit starting at $300.
Neither one says how they run that check.
That matters more than it sounds. Ask ChatGPT the same question five times and you can get five different answers. It is not like Google, where position 4 is position 4 all day. AI answers move around.
So if someone checks once, they have not learned anything. It is like flipping a coin one time and telling you the coin lands on heads.
Before you pay either company, ask these four things:
- How many times did you run each question? Once is not a measurement. You want it run several times.
- Which AI tools did you check? ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot do not agree with each other. A win on one is not a win on all.
- Can you give me my starting number as a ratio? Something like "we asked this question five times, your competitor appeared five times, you appeared once." Not a screenshot.
- Will you run the exact same check again later, the same way? If the method changes, the comparison is worthless.
Neither company publishes answers to these. That does not mean they have bad answers. It means you have to ask. The same four questions, and the rest of the ones worth asking any agency in this category, are set out in our buyer's framework for choosing a GEO agency.
Who each one is right for
Choose Pronto if: you mainly need your website looked after, you want to see prices before you talk to anyone, you do not want a long contract, and you are comfortable being one industry among several that they serve. Their $99 to $799 plans are genuinely cheap for what they are, and the no contract policy means a low risk trial.
Choose Tech Pro if: you want an agency that only thinks about MSPs, you are in that $500,000 to $5 million revenue range, you want lead generation rather than website care, and you are fine doing a sales call to learn the price.
Choose neither if: what you actually need is to find out where you stand in AI answers before you spend anything. That is a measurement problem, not a marketing problem, and both of these companies will sell you the marketing first.
Where we fit, and where we do not
We should be upfront. We are GeoCited. We do AI search work for MSPs, so we are not a neutral party here.
We do not do what either of these companies does. We do not manage your WordPress site and we do not run your Google Ads. If you need those things, the two firms above are better options than us, and we would tell you that on a call.
What we do is the measurement part. We find the real questions your buyers ask AI, with a source for each one. We run every question several times across several AI tools, and we give you your position as a ratio, not a screenshot. Then we work out which pages the AI is actually reading in your category, and what it would take to get you onto them.
You can ask us the same four questions above. We think you should ask them of everybody, including us.

Frequently asked
Is Pronto Marketing an MSP marketing company?
Partly. Pronto serves MSPs and has dedicated MSP pages, but it also serves nonprofits, manufacturing and professional services. Its main product is WordPress website management.
Does Tech Pro Marketing publish its prices?
No. There are no prices anywhere on their website, including the full services page. You have to book a call.
Which one is cheaper?
We cannot say. Pronto's plans run from $99 to $1,099 per month depending on what you buy. Tech Pro does not publish prices, so there is nothing to compare it to.
Do both companies do AI search optimization?
Yes. Both have dedicated pages for it, and both say it belongs inside regular SEO rather than as a separate package.
What happened to Ulistic?
Tech Pro Marketing acquired Ulistic LP. The deal was completed in October 2022 and reported that December. The ulistic.com website now sends visitors to Tech Pro Marketing.
What is the single most important question to ask either of them?
How many times did you run each question when you checked our AI visibility? If the answer is once, the number they showed you does not mean much.
