Lourdes Paul Agilan, GEO Expert and Founder of GeoCited

GEO here means generative engine optimization. It is the work of getting your company named when a buyer asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude or Google's AI answers who to hire.

Lourdes Paul Agilan founded GeoCited to do that work for B2B companies. He runs the 90-Day Recommendation Sprint himself, from Chennai, India. Clients are in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Singapore.

The short version

Lourdes Paul Agilan is a generative engine optimization expert. He helps managed IT providers, IT services firms and B2B software companies get recommended by AI tools. His 90-Day Recommendation Sprint runs three processes: Sourced Prompt Discovery, Citation Gap Analysis and Source Engineering. Every result is measured across repeated runs, not single screenshots.

Why I do this work

A buyer used to search Google, open ten tabs and build a shortlist.

Now many of them type one question into ChatGPT and get three names back.

If your company is not one of those names, you never learn you were skipped. No lost deal shows up in your CRM. The shortlist just forms without you.

That is the problem I work on. Not rankings. There is no ranking in ChatGPT. There is only whether it says your name when a real buyer asks a real question.

What a GEO expert actually does

Most of the work overlaps with good SEO: clear pages, real proof, mentions on other sites.

Three things are different, and they are where most agencies stop:

  1. Measuring the answers. AI answers change from one run to the next. So I ask each buyer question several times, on several AI tools, and report a ratio. "Named in 3 of 5 runs" means something. One screenshot does not.
  2. Finding the real buyer questions. Five-word keywords miss how buyers ask. Real questions carry size, budget and industry. I pull them from forums, reviews, sales calls and support tickets, and each one keeps its source.
  3. Working on other people's pages. AI tools mostly build answers from directories, lists, forums and reviews, not from your own website. So a large part of the job happens off your site.

The 90-Day Recommendation Sprint

The Sprint has one goal: get you named on the buyer questions we track, within 90 days.

It is not a lead guarantee. Sales cycles in IT services often run 8 to 12 months. What the 90 days measure is whether AI tools say your name, checked the same way every week.

It runs as three processes.

1. Sourced Prompt Discovery

You find out exactly where you stand, and the number holds up when you check it yourself.

2. Citation Gap Analysis

You find out what to fix, and it is the things that actually move the answer.

3. Source Engineering

You get onto the pages that decide the answer.

What I won't promise

Nobody can guarantee a spot in a ChatGPT answer. Anyone who does is selling something they can't control.

What I can promise is a clear method. You get the same questions, run the same way, every week, with the full log. If the numbers do not move, you will see that too.

Proof, with dates

These are single observations. AI answers change, so each one carries the date it was seen.

Background

Before GeoCited, I built and sold digital products to more than 5,000 small businesses in India. I also ran a done-for-you AI agency.

I founded Orosfort Private Limited, a Chennai company that builds B2B software for small businesses. Its products include Dariet (AI voice agents), WaBiz (WhatsApp Business automation), Zakro (factory operations) and CatchIQ (LinkedIn comment-to-DM automation). GeoCited is part of Orosfort.

That background matters for one reason. I have spent years watching how small business buyers find and choose vendors. The channel changed. The buying question did not.

Who I work with

The best fit is a company already paying someone for SEO or content, whose owner has asked ChatGPT who to hire in their category and not seen their own name.

Frequently asked questions

What is a GEO expert?

A GEO expert gets companies named in AI answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google's AI results. GEO stands for generative engine optimization. It is not the same as geography or GIS work.

Who is Lourdes Paul Agilan?

Lourdes Paul Agilan is the founder of GeoCited, a generative engine optimization agency based in Chennai, India. He runs the 90-Day Recommendation Sprint for B2B companies in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Singapore.

What is the 90-Day Recommendation Sprint?

It is GeoCited's main program. Over 90 days it runs three processes: Sourced Prompt Discovery, Citation Gap Analysis and Source Engineering. The goal is to get the client named by AI tools on a tracked set of buyer questions.

Can a GEO expert guarantee my company appears in ChatGPT?

No. AI answers change from run to run, and nobody controls them. A good GEO expert measures your position across repeated runs and shows you what moved.

Is GEO different from SEO?

Partly. Much of the work overlaps with good SEO. The differences are measuring AI answers, finding the real buyer questions and working on the third-party pages AI tools read.

How do I start?

Book a call. The first step is a pre-check of where you stand today on the questions your buyers ask.
