Ulistic vs Jumpfactor: What Changed After Ulistic Joined Tech Pro Marketing
Ulistic is no longer a separate company. Tech Pro Marketing bought it in October 2022. Today ulistic.com redirects to Tech Pro. So "Ulistic vs Jumpfactor" really means Tech Pro Marketing vs Jumpfactor. Both serve only MSPs. Both sell AI search work. Neither one publishes prices. Jumpfactor is much bigger. It also offers a pay-per-appointment option.
Ulistic joined Tech Pro Marketing in 2022, so Ulistic vs Jumpfactor now means Tech Pro vs Jumpfactor. Size, prices, guarantees and AI search compared.

What happened to Ulistic?
Ulistic was one of the early marketing firms built only for MSPs. An MSP is a managed service provider: a company that runs IT for other businesses. Stuart Crawford led Ulistic as CEO.
Crawford came from the MSP world himself. He co-founded IT Matters, an MSP in Calgary, Canada, in 2001. SmarterMSP published his story on 9 August 2016. It says IT Matters grew to $5.5M in yearly revenue and 34 staff. He sold it in 2008. A 2015 post on Ulistic's own site says he started Ulistic after that sale.
Then the market shifted. ChannelE2E reported the deal on 9 December 2022. Tech Pro Marketing bought Ulistic LP. The deal closed in October 2022. Neither side shared the price.
Crawford gave ChannelE2E a short reason. He said teaming up "simply made sense" for clients to win new business. Tech Pro CEO Nate Freedman said both client groups would get new growth tactics.
Does Ulistic still exist today?
Not as its own brand. We typed ulistic.com into a web reader on 23 September 2026. It came back with a 302 redirect to techpromarketing.com. A 302 is a web code for "moved for now." In practice, you land on Tech Pro's home page.
Tech Pro's home page and About page don't mention Ulistic at all. We checked both on 23 September 2026. So a former Ulistic client now deals with Tech Pro's team. Tech Pro doesn't say publicly which Ulistic services it kept.
That changes your search. You can't hire Ulistic in 2026. You can hire Tech Pro Marketing. For a full look at Tech Pro against another agency, read our Pronto Marketing vs Tech Pro Marketing comparison.
What should a former Ulistic client check now?
Maybe you signed with Ulistic years ago. Your work may now sit with a different team. That's worth a quick review.
- Find your current contract. Check which company name it shows.
- Ask Tech Pro who owns your website, domain and content.
- Ask for a list of the services you get each month.
- Compare that list with what you signed up for.
- Ask for a fresh report on leads from the last 90 days.
None of these steps means something went wrong. A change of owner is simply a good time to check.
What is Jumpfactor?
Jumpfactor is an MSP marketing agency in North York, Ontario, Canada. Its site says it was "purpose-built to serve MSPs, MSSPs, and cybersecurity firms." An MSSP is an MSP that focuses on security.
Zamir Javer is the CEO. His bio on Jumpfactor's site mentions a 14-year stint there. The About page claims 105+ full-time staff. Those staff work across North America, India and the Philippines.
Jumpfactor sells SEO, paid ads, websites, branding, email automation and reviews work. It also sells a service it calls "AEO, GEO & LLM Optimization." That means work to get you named in AI answers.
Ulistic (now Tech Pro Marketing) vs Jumpfactor: side by side
We took every fact below from each company's own site, its Clutch profile or ChannelE2E. All of it we read on 23 September 2026, unless the row says otherwise.
| Question | Ulistic (now Tech Pro Marketing) | Jumpfactor |
|---|---|---|
| Who they serve | MSPs only (own site) | MSPs, MSSPs and cyber firms only (own site) |
| Typical client size | MSPs with $500k to $5M managed services revenue (ChannelE2E, Dec 2022) | 65% of clients under $10M revenue (Clutch profile) |
| Founded | 2017; MSP-only from 1 Jan 2019 (ChannelE2E, Dec 2022) | 2009 (Clutch profile) |
| Team size | 10 to 49 (Clutch profile) | 105+ full-time (own site) |
| Based in | Washington, DC (Clutch profile) | North York, Ontario, Canada (own site) |
| Published prices | Not published | Not published |
| Clutch minimum project | $1,000+ | $5,000+ |
| Clutch hourly rate | $100 to $149 | $100 to $149 |
| Clutch reviews | 0 | 4, rated 5.0 |
| Pay-per-result option | Not published | Yes, "pay-per-lead RTB model" if you qualify |
| "Guarantee" wording | "Guaranteed MSP Leads" in page title | "We guarantee qualified leads" |
| AI search offer | Free "AI search competitor report" | Full "AEO, GEO & LLM Optimization" service |
| AI tools named | ChatGPT | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Overviews |
| Headline proof claim | "226+ managed service providers across 36 states" | "$1.6 billion+ in revenue generated for MSPs" |
Two rows need a warning. The proof claims come from each company's own marketing. Nobody outside has checked them. The Clutch profiles also carry self-reported fields, like team size and founding year.
Where do the numbers conflict?
Both companies give different numbers in different places. That's normal for agency sites. Still, you should know about it.
Tech Pro's founding date shifts by source. ChannelE2E says 2017. Clutch also says 2017. The Tech Pro home page says "12+ Years Experience." Freedman's bio says he's done internet marketing "since 2009." The likely answer: 2009 is his career, and 2017 is the firm. Tech Pro doesn't say that directly, though.
Tech Pro's client count shifts too. Its home page says "100+ MSPs Trust Us." The same page's description says 226+ MSPs. The reviews page says 225+.
Jumpfactor's lead count shifts slightly. The home page says "36,000+" MSP buyer leads. The About page says "36,777." Those two fit together. Its founding date is fuzzier. Clutch says 2009. The About page says "a decade" of insights.
None of this is a scandal. But it tells you one thing. Ask each agency for the source behind its headline number.
Which one does more for AI search?
On paper, Jumpfactor goes further. Its AI search page lists nine parts. These include an AI visibility audit, schema work, citation building and "AI Brand Accuracy Monitoring." It says it tracks "every citation, ranking and lead" to pipeline. It also names a scoring tool it calls the "OA Score."
Tech Pro takes a lighter approach in public. Its home page leads with a line: "When Someone Asks ChatGPT for an MSP, It's Not Naming You." It then offers a free competitor report. That report covers AI search, Google and reviews. Tech Pro lists AEO and GEO among its services too.
Here's the catch for both. AI answers change from one run to the next. A single ChatGPT screenshot proves nothing. A real check asks the same question many times. It then reports how often you appear. Neither site explains how many runs it uses. So ask them. We explain the method in how to track AI citations and traffic.
Also, nobody can promise a spot in ChatGPT. There is no fixed "ranking" there. Neither company promises one on the pages we read. Keep an eye out for that promise on a sales call.
What about the "guarantee" language?
Both agencies use the word. Tech Pro puts "Guaranteed MSP Leads" in its home page title. We found no terms for that guarantee on the page.
Jumpfactor goes further in writing. Its home page says "If we don't deliver results, you don't pay." It also offers a pay-per-lead model. There, you pay only when "revenue-ready appointments show up." But that model has a condition: "if you qualify." Jumpfactor doesn't publish the rules.
So get the guarantee in your contract. Ask what counts as a qualified lead. Ask who decides. Ask what happens if you disagree.
Who each is right for
Choose Tech Pro Marketing (the old Ulistic) if:
- Your managed services revenue sits between $500k and $5M.
- You want a smaller team. Clutch lists 10 to 49 staff.
- You were a Ulistic client and want continuity with the same parent firm.
- You'd start small. Clutch lists a $1,000 minimum project.
Choose Jumpfactor if:
- You want a large team doing many channels at once.
- You'd like to pay per appointment. Check first that you qualify.
- You want a named AI search service with its own reporting.
- You can meet a $5,000 minimum project on Clutch.
Look at both with care if:
- You need a price before the first call. Neither publishes one.
- You want outside proof. Tech Pro has zero Clutch reviews. Jumpfactor has four.
The one question to ask both
Ask this: "How will you show me my AI search results changed?" A good answer names the questions they'll test. It says how many times they'll run each one. It names the AI tools. It shows a starting number before any work begins.
We at GeoCited run that kind of repeat-run check for MSPs. Either agency should be able to give you the same thing.
