Why do MSP owners look for Tech Pro Marketing alternatives?

Tech Pro Marketing is a real specialist. It works only with MSPs (managed service providers, the companies that run IT for small businesses). Its homepage says over 100 MSPs rely on it. The same page claims "20K+ Leads Generated" for "226+ managed service providers across 36 states."

Tech Pro also grew by buying a rival. ChannelE2E reported on 9 December 2022 that Tech Pro bought Ulistic. The deal closed in October 2022. Ulistic.com now sends you to Tech Pro. ChannelE2E said Tech Pro mostly serves MSPs with $500,000 to $5 million a year in managed services revenue.

Each reason for leaving points to a different company. No single company wins them all.

What does Tech Pro Marketing say about pricing, contracts and guarantees?

Pricing. Tech Pro publishes no prices. Its pages ask you to book a "growth call." Its Clutch profile lists a $1,000+ minimum project and $100 to $149 an hour. The lead generation page gives rough channel costs. It says MSP Google Ads "typically cost $30-80 per lead." It says LinkedIn outreach can cost "$50-150 per meeting."

Guarantees. The homepage title says "Guaranteed MSP Leads." We found no page that explains the terms. The site gives no lead count, time frame or refund rule. One client quote on the SEO page mentions "30 days to cancel and money back guarantee." That is a customer quote, not a published policy.

Reviews. Tech Pro's homepage claims "150+ 5-Star Reviews." Its Clutch profile showed zero reviews on 23 September 2026. We could not confirm the Google count ourselves.

Which Tech Pro Marketing alternatives fit your reason?

We do not rank these firms. All facts below come from each company's own site, read on 23 September 2026.

You want published prices

Pronto Marketing posts its full price list. WordPress support plans cost $99, $299 or $799 a month. New websites cost $4,500 to $15,000+. SEO blog writing starts at $549 a month. Pronto says it has "no long-term contracts." It also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

BigOrange also posts prices. Its inbound marketing package costs $4,880 a month. It carries a six-month minimum. Its website package costs $8,088 a month with a three-month minimum. BigOrange's own comparison page says engagements "start at $3,770/month per Clutch." Its pricing page says $4,880. The two numbers conflict. Ask which one applies.

You only need a website looked after

Maybe you just need a fast, safe site. Pronto runs WordPress sites for many industries, MSPs included. We compared the two firms side by side in our Pronto Marketing vs Tech Pro Marketing post.

Pronto is a website shop first. Tech Pro is a lead generation shop first.

You want a smaller team or founder access

MSP Launchpad is a small MSP-only firm. It is based in the Netherlands. The founder, Louis, runs weekly calls in the DIY plan. Its homepage gives price ranges. The done-for-you plan "typically" costs $5,000 to $12,000 a month. A hybrid plan costs $1,200 to $3,000 a month.

MSP Launchpad also states a guarantee. The homepage says: "DFY: No leads = Next month's fees waived." Its done-for-you sales page tells a different story. It lists a $2,999 setup fee plus about $4,000 a month in ad spend. It says "No contracts." That page gives no guarantee wording. Get the terms in writing.

Tortoise and Hare Software serves B2B tech firms, MSPs included. It wants clients with at least 10 staff and $1 million in yearly revenue. Its pricing page lists a $5,000-a-month content package. A managed website build costs $15,000 once. The page says clients "typically spend between $5,000 and $25,000/month." The home page lists six core roles on its team.

You want to do the work yourself

Technology Marketing Toolkit sells memberships, coaching and marketing tools. It says "over 21,800 MSPs and IT services clients" have used its plans. We could not find prices on its home page.

MSP Launchpad also has a DIY plan. Its homepage lists $3,900 for the first year as a limited offer. After that it costs $2,500 a year to stay in the group. It promises "Money back + $5000" if you get no results under its terms.

You want a bigger shop with sales tools

Marketopia is larger. It says it has "65+ Technology growth specialists." It claims "1000+ MSPs and technology companies, since 2014." It sells marketing, outbound calling and its own AI prospecting tools. It publishes no client prices.

You want AI search handled and measured

Tech Pro lists "MSP AEO & GEO" as a service. AEO and GEO mean getting named in AI answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google. Tech Pro's SEO page gives no detail on how it checks this.

TSL Marketing sells AI SEO for MSPs. It says it has "50+ B2B IT Growth & Digital Marketing Experts." Its AI SEO page promises "Monitoring & Reporting." It does not name the AI tools it checks. It does not say how often it checks.

BigOrange sells AI search work too. It offers an "AI Visibility Score" check. Its site does not explain how it builds that score.

None of these firms publishes its AI search method. AI answers change from one run to the next. One screenshot proves nothing. A real check asks the same question many times. Then it reports a ratio, like "named in 6 of 10 runs." Our guide on how to track AI citations and traffic shows what a good report looks like.

What should you ask before you switch?

  1. Ask for the price in writing. Get the monthly fee, setup fee and ad spend as separate lines.
  2. Ask for the minimum term. "No long-term contracts" can still mean three or six months.
  3. Ask what "guaranteed" means. Get the number of leads, the time frame and the refund rule.
  4. Ask who owns the website and content if you leave.
  5. Ask for review links. Check the dates yourself.
  6. Ask how they measure AI answers. Which tools? How many runs? What ratio?

Nobody can promise you a spot in ChatGPT. There is no "ranking" there. Walk away from anyone who promises one.
